The landlord register for letting agents and property managers
Your landlords will ask you to “do the register”. At launch, you can only do part of it, one property at a time, through a separate link and password for each. We help you get the data ready for your whole book so each link takes minutes.
How does the agent link work?
- 1. The landlord starts the registration. They register themselves, create the property entry, pay the fee and give your agency’s email address.
- 2. You receive a unique link for that property. The first time you use it, you set a password. You cannot reset it yourself; the landlord has to cancel the link and send a new one.
- 3. You complete the tenancy and safety section. Licences, occupants and households, furnishing, rent, bills included, and the gas safety record, EICR or EIC, and EPC with their dates. The landlord is notified of what you submit.
- 4. You keep it updated. Using the same link and password, within 28 days of any change, such as a new certificate, a rent change or new occupants.

What is the problem for agents?
Hundreds of links and passwords
An agency managing 300 properties will have 300 separate links, each with its own password, arriving whenever each landlord gets round to starting.
Data scattered across systems
Certificates sit in the compliance folder, rents in the accounts system, licence numbers in emails. Copying them in by hand, accurately, takes time.
Landlords who don’t start
You can’t do anything until the landlord has started the registration. Some won’t, and their 28-day clock still applies once they do.
Ongoing updates
Every gas safety renewal, EICR, rent review and change of tenant means an update within 28 days, through that property’s link.
How can Register-Ready help agents?
- Bulk preparation: send us the documents for your managed properties and we return a checked sheet for each one, split into the landlord’s part and your part.
- Gap report by landlord: which properties have expired or missing certificates, unclear EICR dates, EPCs below E or licence questions, before anyone starts typing.
- Landlord packs: a short sheet you can send each landlord with exactly what they must do themselves (register, create the entry, pay, send you the link).
- Update monitoring: we track expiry dates and tell you which properties need updating, and when.
We never log in to the register, and we don’t hold your links or passwords. See an example output.
