Register-Ready is an independent service. It is not affiliated with GOV.UK or the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. Landlords remain responsible for their own registration.

Information, not advice

Our guides, checklist, deadline checker and example output are general information about the “Register your rental property” service, based on GOV.UK guidance and draft regulations that may change. They are not legal advice and do not take account of your circumstances. Where our information differs from GOV.UK, GOV.UK is right. Please check the GOV.UK guidance or take professional advice before acting.

Accuracy

We check our facts regularly and show when each page was last checked, but we can’t promise that everything on the site is complete, current or error-free. Fee figures we calculate from the published formula are illustrations; the GOV.UK service shows the amount you actually pay.

Your responsibility

Landlords remain responsible for their own registration, the accuracy of what they submit, and their compliance with housing, safety and energy efficiency law.
