Privacy policy
Who we are. The data controller’s legal name, registered address and ICO registration number will be published here before we collect any personal information. Until then, the waitlist and contact forms are switched off.
Visiting the site
- No cookies. We don’t set cookies and we don’t use advertising or tracking tools.
- Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.
- Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
- Deadline checker. When you enter a postcode, your browser sends it directly to postcodes.io, a free public postcode service, to find the region. We don’t receive or store the postcode.
Waitlist and reminders (not yet open)
If you join the waitlist, ask for a reminder or ask for the checklist by email, we collect:
- your email address;
- the region where most of your properties are, and a range for how many you have (both optional);
- whether you are a landlord, a letting agent or other;
- which page you signed up on, and when;
- for agents, anything you choose to tell us in the message box.
Why: only to email you about the Register-Ready launch and reminders about your region’s registration dates, and to understand demand by region in total. We never sell or share your details for marketing.
Lawful basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box. You can withdraw it at any time.
Spam protection: forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is submitting them. Turnstile processes limited technical data for this purpose and does not use cookies for tracking.
Where it’s stored: in a Cloudflare D1 database. Cloudflare acts as our processor.
How long we keep it: until you unsubscribe, or 12 months after the last regional deadline (14 November 2027), whichever comes first, unless you become a customer.

Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Contact us using the details on the contact page. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Documents you send us later
When the service opens, documents you send us for preparation (tenancy agreements and certificates) will contain personal data about you and your tenants. A separate service privacy notice and terms will cover that before we accept any documents.
